The history of the Villa Corniole Winery is rooted in hard work, passion and solidarity. It all began with Remo Pellegrini, a farmer from Valle di Cembra in Trentino, who together with his friends founded a social cooperative around 1950 in order to lift the economy of the valley, a historically very poor area. The cooperative allowed everyone to contribute their grapes, providing stability for their families. In this context Onorio pellegrini, Remo’s son, grew up and developed a great passion for grapes and wine. Longing for redemption, Onorio decided as a young man to found a private winery to enhance quality and innovate: his goal was to make Cembra Valley known to the world through its wines. Starting from working in the fields with oxen, Onorio saw the arrival of the first tractor, a symbol of progress. Onorio’s life was marked by hard work and sacrifices, but with the support of his wife Maddalena, he realized his dream: Villa Corniole. Today, the winery is run by daughters Sara, Linda and Sabina, who proudly carry on the family tradition, keeping alive the values of dedication, quality and respect for the land. Villa Corniole is the symbol of a dream realized: each bottle tells the story of Valle di Cembra, of the sacrifices and joys of its people, expressing authentic Alpine rurality. The winery represents the success of a country child who, with determination, turned an almost impossible vision into a solid reality, taking the name of Cembra Valley to the world.
